March 2020:
The Covid-19 Crisis has stopped us working on location for a while, but our studio is still open for the remote production of graphics based videos, and films edited from stock, archive and self-shot footage.
We are also fully equipped to transfer tape footage to digital, including VHS, Betamax, Mini DV and all professional formats.

About Us

Devon Films is the home of multi award winning video director Steve Price.

Working across a variety of production genres Steve has spent the last three decades establishing himself as one of the most prolific and versatile directors in the industry.  His portfolio includes clients as diverse as British Athletics, BBC Three, Facebook, Nintendo and some of the worlds biggest rock stars including Queen, Mumford & Sons, The 1975, Beyonce and Bastille.

In 2018 Steve won the Des Fallon Video Visionary Award at the TPI Awards in London and was nominated for the same award in 2016, 2019 and 2020.

At Devon Films we have full broadcast spec edit facilities in our studio in Lustleigh, Dartmoor.  We edit on Mac based systems using Apple FCP and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.  All our systems are geared up with the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite and Davinci Resolve.

We can edit in virtually any format, so whether your footage is VHS from the archives or 4K from the latest digital cameras rest assured we can handle it.

News

March 2020 Update:

We are now offering a tape to digital transfer service.  We can transfer pretty much all professional tape as well as VHS, Betamax and Mini DV to MPEG4 or ProRes digital files.  After transfer your tapes are returned to you along with a memory stick containing video files of your footage and/or stored online for download.

Digital transfer prices:
Professional formats (U-matic, Digibeta etc) - POA.
Consumer formats (VHS, Betamax etc) - £30 per tape + USB Dongle or Hard Drive costs.
All charges are subject to an additional 20% VAT.
