Steve Price on tour with Queen

We are very pleased to announce that Steve Price is currently on tour with Queen, directing the video coverage of their North American concerts until the end of July. After rehearsing for 10 days in Los Angeles the first show took place in Chicago two nights ago, and received great reviews across the board in print and on TV, with new front man Adam Lambert (American Idol runner-up in 2009) being singled out for his pitch perfect vocals and flamboyant performance. The tour takes in 24 stadiums and arenas across the United States and Canada before moving on to Asia and Australia later in the year....

May Update

May has been another phenomenally busy month for Devon Films with Ben and Steve both working full time on some very exciting and prestigious projects. First up - Ben has now completed his edit for the Go! Go! Go! Show Live! and the film will be on a TV near you soon.  More updates will be posted on this site in the near future. Meanwhile, Steve is just coming to the end of the incredibly successful sold-out UK arena tour for McBusted.  We are currently in Ireland for our final 3 shows, which finish on Monday in the O2 Dublin.  Then it's back to Devon for a few days before flying to LA next...

Steve Price Directing for McBusted

Steve is currently directing a sold out UK arena tour for pop 'supergroup' McBusted.  The 6 piece band, composed of members of McFly and Busted, have created a massive extravaganza of a show based on the classic film Back To The Future, featuring a flying car, loads of pyrotechnics, and a huge UFO which descends from the roof with the band playing live on top of it.  The tour takes in 34 arenas around the UK before ending in Dublin on June 2nd. The Go! Go! Go! Show Live at Shepherds Bush Empire

Ben Milner has just directed the film The Go! Go! Go! Show Live at Shepherds Bush Empire in London, and is currently in the studio editing together the broadcast master. The show is an all-new family pop musical experience written by Mike Stock of Stock Aitken Waterman fame and features pop songs, catchy, easy-to-learn dance moves, plenty of audience interaction and loads of laughs.  Look out for it soon on the Nickelodeon kids channel.

Steve on tour with Tinie Tempah

Steve is currently in the middle of directing a short arena tour around the UK with Mobo Award winning artist Tinie Tempah.  Working with 6 cameras and a massive ultra-wide LED screen, Steve is currently in Wales for a sold out show at the Cardiff International Arena.  By a happy coincidence, the tour arrived in Nottingham on the same day Ben Milner (Devon Films' other director) was at the Capital FM Arena directing the final show of The Wanted's farewell arena tour.  Tinie Tempah's tour wraps up in Dublin at the o2 Arena on April 9th.

Ben on tour with The Wanted

Devon Films director Ben Milner has just finished a month long tour of UK arenas with The Wanted.  Working with 5 cameras and two giant LED I-Mag screens, Ben played an integral role in bringing the live performance up close and personal to over 200,000 screaming fans.  The highlight of the tour was when the band sang Happy Birthday to Ben on stage in a packed Belfast Odyssey Arena.

Plymouth Film Festival

Carnegie Mellon University – ‘A Decade in Doha’

We are back in Qatar this week to direct the live camera coverage of this prestigious event celebrating ten years since Carnegie Mellon University was established in Education City.  The event will take place in the presence of the Qatari royal family and will be broadcast live on the web across the world.  Stay tuned for more news and pictures.

Geneva Motor Show

Steve has just got back from a week in Geneva where he directed the live broadcast of the Ford press show. This is the 4th time he's directed this event, along with umpteen other shows for Ford at motor shows in Frankfurt, Paris and Moscow. The event was watched live on specially designed screens by hundred of members of the media in the Palexpo Centre, as well as over 100,000 viewers watching online and via satellite broadcast around the world. February brings shoots in Amsterdam, Buenos Aires and London.

Over the last three weeks Steve has been based in Amsterdam where he has been directing a series of films for technology giant Philips through the leading Dutch agency Flickering Wall. Shooting has taken place in Holland, the City of London, and Buenos Aires where Steve has just spent 5 days shooting a documentary about the Argentine project to convert their capital city from Sodium lighting to LED lighting to create a safer, healthier, happier and less consumptive environment for it's citizens and visitors.
